Coconut Oil and Peppermint Natural Butter

This is a natural body butter, suitable for use on hair or skin. For the skin, use coconut oil as a moisturiser, to reduce inflammation, and to heal wounds.

For the hair, coconut oil is particularly great because it stimulates hair growth getting deep into its follicles. It helps to prevent hair damage and is a great shine-booster. Use as a hot oil hair treatment before shampooing.

Peppermint essential oil is a good soother with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties for the hair and skin.

As a home spa aid, Peppermint essential oil is a good aromatherapy breathing aid, as it helps to open the respiratory tract, allowing for the unclogging of mucous membranes. It is also great as a body massage aid to release muscle tension and soothe inflamed skin.
